Arp 273

Arp 273 is a pair of interacting galaxies located about 300 million light-years away in the constellation Andromeda. The larger galaxy, UGC 1810, has a disk distorted into a rose-like shape due to gravitational interactions with its companion, UGC 1813. This interaction has triggered intense star formation in both galaxies.
